A Quick Tip for Working Through an Anxiety Attack

Using your 5 Senses to come back to the moment is an easy and quick tip to help you through any type of anxiety attack.

Take a moment and take a deep inhale, hold it for a count of two and then deeply exhale. In your current surroundings do the following tips using all of your senses:

Look for 3 green things

Touch 3 different textures

Listen for 3 different sounds

Smell 3 different scents

Taste 3 different tastes

This is called grounding

It can help you when you feel like you have lost all control of your surroundings.
